  • 70 g Planta Professional Multipurpose Margarine
  • 25 g plain flour
  • 400 ml milk of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 120 g cheddar
  • 120 g mozzarella
  • 250 g macaroni pasta
  • 50 g panko breadcrumbs
  • 50 gram panko breadcrumbs
  1. In a pot of boiling water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and all of the macaroni. Boil for 6 minutes, drain and set aside.
  2. In a wide pot over medium heat, add 50g Planta Professional Multipurpose Margarine and heat until melted. Add in plain flour and mix well until a smooth roux forms. Cook until lightly browned.
  3. Add in milk, mix well and bring to a boil. Season with salt and paprika. Add in cheddar and mozzarella and mix until melted and smooth.
  4. Add in the cooked macaroni and mix evenly.
  5. In a pan over medium heat, melt 20g Planta Professional Multipurpose Margarine. Add in the panko breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.
  6. Scoop the macaroni and cheese into a serving dish, top off with fried breadcrumbs and serve.
