Ingredients
 

  • 500 grams beef mince
  • 1 cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Planta margarine
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 inch piece ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • lemon wedges to serve

Instructions
 

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon Planta margarine in a pan and add the onions, green chillies, garlic & ginger. Cook for 2 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the mince meat, cooked onions, garlic & ginger, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, egg, cumin powder & turmeric powder.
  3. Press a small portion of the meat onto a skewer to form a kebab and repeat with the rest.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of Planta margarine on a pan and then place the meat skewers on it. Cook for 10 minutes, turning the skewers occasionally.
  5. Serve with a squeeze of lemon and kachumbari.
