- 500 grams beef mince
- 1 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 3 tablespoons Planta margarine
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- salt
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 inch piece ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 green chilli chopped
- lemon wedges to serve
- Heat 1 tablespoon Planta margarine in a pan and add the onions, green chillies, garlic & ginger. Cook for 2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the mince meat, cooked onions, garlic & ginger, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, egg, cumin powder & turmeric powder.
- Press a small portion of the meat onto a skewer to form a kebab and repeat with the rest.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of Planta margarine on a pan and then place the meat skewers on it. Cook for 10 minutes, turning the skewers occasionally.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon and kachumbari.
